Sick patient and urgent vet services are a fundamental cornerstone of our commitment to comprehensive pet care. Your Parker & Ace team is here to support your sick and urgent care needs, including advanced pain management, complete diagnostic lab for immediate test results, care and monitoring by veterinarians and technicians, and more.
Pet not feeling great? No problem, we’ve seen it all. We offer the full range of services you’d expect and some you didn’t, so whether it’s allergies, stomach problems, or ear infections, we can help.
The sooner we can assess your pet, and regularly monitor them, the better. Because, proactive treatment is likely to be most effective—and less costly–over time.
We provide the following urgent care services:
- Care and monitoring by veterinarians and technicians
- Nutritional support
- Advanced pain management
- Constant rate infusions of IV fluids and medications
- Pulse-Oximetry, End-Tidal CO2, blood pressure and continuous ECG monitoring
- Oxygen therapy
- Digital imaging, such as X-rays and ultrasound
- Complete diagnostic lab for immediate test results

DURING CLINIC HOURS
If your pet has a medical emergency during your primary care veterinarian's regular office hours, we recommend you reach out to the Parker & Ace veterinary teletriage team for a professional recommendation. They will direct you to an emergency clinic or book an urgent care appointment for you at Parker & Ace. After treating the immediate situation, your veterinarian will discuss with you the findings and what should be done to keep your pet on the road to recovery.
Parker & Ace is so committed to helping your pets that we have dedicated urgent care appointments blocked off each day so we can be there to support you and your beloved pets.
AFTER CLINIC HOURS
If a situation occurs after clinic hours, you can be comfortable knowing that the Parker & Ace veterinary teletriage team will be there to assist you.
Get immediate help in a few quick steps:
1. Contact the Parker & Ace vet team using our web-based app for members.
2. Within typically a few minutes, the team will determine if your pet requires immediate care and if so, they will direct you to a partner emergency clinic.
3. If your pet does not require immediate medical care, the Parker & Ace veterinary teletriage team will book you an appointment to be seen at your Parker & Ace clinic the next day.
4. Once your pet is back on their feet, your veterinarian will discuss with you the next steps and, if required, will schedule a follow-up appointment.
You can always rely on your Parker & Ace vet team to be there for you and your pet—anytime, day or night.
Parker & Ace is prepared for:
- Traumatic injuries, including fractures, bites, burns, lacerations
- Automobile accidents
- Vomiting, diarrhea
- Difficulty urinating or defecating
- Shock or loss of consciousness
- Seizures
- Toxic reactions, poison ingestion
- Labor and pregnancy problems
- Blood in urine or feces
- Heatstroke
- Postoperative or post-anesthetic problems
- Pain management
- Inability or unwillingness to eat

Parker & Ace members are encouraged to use their unlimited office visits and 24/7 teletriage to communicate with their vet team whenever an issue arises.
Keep in mind, the sooner we can assess your pet and the situation, the better we can treat them.
